Saint Stephen’s provides a breadth of offerings, expert faculty, and a warm community that is fertile ground to inspire excellence and balance. Students know that they can express themselves, and we are all asked to hold ourselves to high standards because Saint Stephen’s delivers the resources to achieve those standards.

Excellence is not about standing out in one area; it’s a continuous process with no end destination and it looks different for each individual. Setting high expectations teaches taking pride in the little things, and starting this mindset at a young age helps to ingrain a pursuit of excellence.

Our teachers are constantly exploring better ways to create interactive classroom experiences that build student confidence and critical thinking skills. Unique offerings in marine science, global studies, Capstone research, the Interim Quest program, and more, encourage students to take chances and discover new passions.

And while the school has certainly earned its strong reputation for academic achievement and the ability to prepare students to successfully enter college, the full Saint Stephen’s experience extends well beyond just class work. There is a vibrant athletic program that has produced state championship teams in football, soccer, tennis, track and golf. Former Falcons have gone on to play professional soccer, tennis and football. The arts and music flourish. SSES alumni have performed on Broadway stages, in feature films, and sung at Coachella.

We consistently look for ways to inspire our students to pursue their own path to excellence, showing that hard work allows them to accomplish their goals. Then we help them set another goal, teaching that success is never final.
