There’s a unique energy that you can feel the minute you step on campus at Saint Stephen’s. That’s because students are excited and encouraged to pursue the passions they bring with them or to discover something new that they’ve always thought about trying. Looking for opportunities to get involved, meet friends and make a difference? There are so many ways to engage throughout the school year at Saint Stephen’s. Students join clubs, cheer on the Falcons sports teams, serve on student government, plan homecoming and other parties, create art exhibits, interact with guest speakers, travel near and far, and much more.
Visual and performing arts are part of a student’s experience from the youngest pre-kindergarteners to our seniors. Drama, music, voice, photography, traditional and digital art are all offered. Exhibits of student art are displayed on and off campus and theater performances always draw enthusiastic, sold-out crowds.
Community service is a key component of a Saint Stephen’s education, and each student completes 100 hours prior to graduation. This requirement is intended to give students a broader understanding of their community and emphasize how important it is to give back in service to others.
Comprehensive athletic programs begin in the Lower School, where the focus is on sportsmanship, achievement, integrity, teamwork, and leadership in order to improve the fitness of every student. At sixth grade and beyond, student-athletes are eligible to join a wide variety of our competitive teams, aligned with their level of skill and maturity.
There is also a vibrant spiritual life at Saint Stephen’s for people of all faiths. Chapel is an integral part of our students’ schedule each week and our goal is to create an environment where spiritual awareness is valued and God’s presence in our daily lives is recognized.
The variety of clubs, special events and extracurricular activities abound. Saint Stephen’s is a unique and energetic environment – truly a place where there is something for every student!
